Is this programme right for you?

Who this is for

This is a good fit for AI professionals, data scientists, IT managers, AI project managers, people responsible for risk and compliance, AI strategists, and decision-makers who need to combine a technical and a management view.

Who this is not for

This is not the right fit if you are looking for training in one specific programming language or an entry-level "AI tools for office work" course, if you only need to implement or audit the ISO/IEC 42001 standard (see the ISO/IEC 42001 tracks instead), if you are not ready to work in English, or if you expect five weeks to give you a complete ML engineering or data-science specialisation.

Price and support

Every route below explains how it works for this particular programme. Full overview: participation support (in Estonian).

Depends on your situation – write to us and we will look at it together.

Ordered by an employer

The capability to strategically lead AI solutions stays in-house. Talking points and a sample letter are on the support page.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from the ISO/IEC 42001 tracks?

CAIP gives a broad, end-to-end view of AI (data analysis, machine learning, deep learning, ethics, strategy). The ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer track teaches you to implement an AI management system, and Lead Auditor teaches you to audit it.

What language is the programme taught in?

Materials and tests are in English; at least an intermediate level of English is needed.

How much time per week does this take?

90 academic hours in total across 5 weeks: live sessions plus independent work at your own pace.

Does EVK issue the PECB credential?

No. Preparation + PECB credential after the certification body's own requirements – Ettevõtluskeskus provides the preparation, PECB issues its own credential once you meet its own requirements.

Do I need programming experience?

Basic data-analysis and programming knowledge is helpful, but lacking programming experience together with an understanding of the basics does not rule out taking part.

What do I need to take part?

A computer, a webcam, a stable internet connection, and headphones with a microphone.

How does mentoring work?

Interactive online lectures and mentor-led group work; 1:1 mentoring is available if needed.

How much does it cost?

The price is confirmed on request – contact us. State support is available to eligible learners – ask us.

The road to the PECB credential – kept in clearly separate layers

Each layer has a different owner. Ettevõtluskeskus provides the preparation; PECB issues its own credential once you meet its own requirements.

Preparation programme + EVK certificate

A 5-week mentor-led programme, online; on achieving the learning outcomes you receive a certificate from Ettevõtluskeskus OÜ, otherwise a certificate of participation.

2 · PECB scheme (AI Professional)

PECB Certified Artificial Intelligence Professional scheme

The programme follows the PECB CAIP curriculum and official training materials; the scheme belongs to PECB, not Ettevõtluskeskus.

3 · Exam

PECB certification exam

PECB organises the certification exam under its own requirements and schedule; whether the exam is included in the price is confirmed on request.

4 · PECB · your step

PECB Certified Artificial Intelligence Professional

Preparation + PECB credential after the certification body's own requirements. PECB distinguishes two levels: Provisional (no experience required) and full level (2 years of work experience, including 1 year of AI experience). The official exam and credential belong to PECB; Ettevõtluskeskus does not issue the PECB credential.
