Who this is for
This is a good fit for internal and external auditors, quality managers, information-security and IT specialists, compliance experts, and consultants who want to assess ISMS conformity and performance.
Who this is not for
This is not the right fit if you mainly need project-management skills for implementing an ISMS rather than auditing it (see the Lead Implementer track instead), if you are looking for a technical course on penetration testing, SOC operations, or network or application security, if you cannot work with English-language materials, or if you expect the course certificate to automatically qualify you to act as an independent certification auditor.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the Lead Implementer track?
The Lead Implementer track teaches you to implement an ISMS in an organisation; Lead Auditor teaches you to audit it. If your role is closer to implementation, see the Lead Implementer track.
What language is the programme taught in?
Materials and tests are in English; at least an intermediate level of English is needed.
How much time does this take?
70 academic hours in total: live sessions plus independent work at your own pace.
Does EVK issue the PECB credential?
No. Preparation + PECB credential after the certification body's own requirements – Ettevõtluskeskus provides the preparation, PECB issues its own credential once you meet its own requirements.
Do I need prior audit experience?
It is not a mandatory prerequisite, but previous audit or compliance-assessment experience is recommended.
What do I need to take part?
A computer, a webcam, a stable internet connection, headphones with a microphone, and a quiet space for the live sessions.
How does mentoring work?
Mentor-led group sessions and practical exercises; 1:1 mentoring is available if needed.

A mentor-led programme, online; on achieving the learning outcomes you receive a certificate from Ettevõtluskeskus OÜ, otherwise a certificate of participation.
2 · PECB scheme (ISO/IEC 27001)
PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor scheme
The programme follows PECB's own ISO/IEC 27001 audit curriculum and official training materials; the scheme belongs to PECB, not Ettevõtluskeskus.
3 · Exam
PECB certification exam
PECB organises the certification exam under its own requirements and schedule; whether the exam is included in the price is confirmed on request.
4 · PECB · your step
PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor
Preparation + PECB credential after the certification body's own requirements. The official exam and credential belong to PECB; Ettevõtluskeskus does not issue the PECB credential.
