You will learn about the basic principles of Six Sigma and Lean. Your instructors will introduce you to, and have you apply, some of the tools and metrics that are critical components of Six Sigma. Six Sigma Tools for Define and Measure

Data Analytics for Lean Six Sigma

He has over 7 years of experience in the field of continuing education and 15 years in the IT field. He started organising computer training at Gensi Koolitus in 1997, initially as a sales representative and later as a managing director. Worked in training companies: Mercuri International, MetaProfit. In the latter, he also served as an assistant trainer. Experience in IT companies: Kungla Dialoog, Business Software Partners, BCS Itera, Konica Minolta, Andmevara AS. He obtained his higher education at Tallinn University of Technology in the field of business administration. In addition, he furthered his education in the prerequisites program for a psychology master's degree at the University of Tartu from 2012 to 2015. In 2017, he completed the Experience advisor Specialist training and has been a member of the Experience advisor Association since 2020.

David Cook, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering Technology at the University System of Georgia.
Dr. David Cook, an experienced professional with extensive expertise in mechanical engineering, quality management, and Lean initiatives, holds degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Louisville, and an Ed.D. from the University of Phoenix. His career includes roles at GE Appliances, a medical venture capital firm, and the Robert Bosch Tool Accessory Division. A certified Six Sigma Green and Black Belt, he has taught statistics and quality management at the college level for over a decade and has been active in Lean initiatives and Six Sigma training in the industry.
Bill Bailey, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering at the University System of Georgia.
Dr. Bill Bailey, an expert in Technology Management with a PhD from Indiana State University, has a background in Industrial Technology and Psychology/English. He possesses significant manufacturing experience, focusing on lean implementation, training & development, and process improvement. A Six Sigma Blackbelt, Dr. Bailey also trains Six Sigma Greenbelts and Blackbelts. He has been involved with several Baldrige-based award processes and is a member of multiple professional organizations. His work extends to research and consulting in organizational performance improvement through quality initiatives like Six Sigma and Lean, applicable across various sectors including manufacturing, education, services, and healthcare.
Christina Scherrer, PhD, is a Professor of Industrial Engineering at the University System of Georgia.
Dr. Scherrer, a full professor in the Systems and Industrial Engineering department at KSU, oversees programs in Industrial Engineering Technology, Apparel/Textile Technology, Systems Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Operations, and Supply Chain Logistics. Since 2005, she has been teaching at SPSU and KSU, particularly enjoying her role in the Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology. Her prior experience includes working for Delta Air Lines and teaching high school math in Fulton County. Dr. Scherrer's research interests span industrial engineering applications in the public sector, with projects on tuberculosis spread, dental sealant program benefits, community health center optimization, and childhood obesity interventions. She also focuses on education research, exploring online education effectiveness, high school outreach impacts, and workshop-style instruction.
